बाजार-ए-हुस्न (उर्दू: بازارِ سن‎) या सेवा सदन (हिंदी: सेवा सदन) मुंशी प्रेमचंद का एक हिंदुस्तानी उपन्यास है।

यह मूल रूप से उर्दू में बाज़ार-ए-हुस्न (“मार्केट ऑफ़ ब्यूटी” या रेड-लाइट डिस्ट्रिक्ट) शीर्षक के तहत लिखा गया था, लेकिन पहली बार 1919 में कलकत्ता से सेवा सदन (“द हाउस ऑफ़ सर्विस”) के रूप में हिंदी में प्रकाशित हुआ था। यह १९२४ में लाहौर से उर्दू में प्रकाशित हुआ था।

बाजार-ए-हुस्न प्रेमचंद का पहला प्रमुख उपन्यास था; इससे पहले, उन्होंने लगभग 100 पृष्ठों के उर्दू में चार उपन्यास प्रकाशित किए थे।

इस पुस्तक का एक अंग्रेजी अनुवाद 2005 में नई दिल्ली में ऑक्सफोर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी प्रेस, भारत द्वारा जारी किया गया था।[2] मुंशी प्रेमचंद की 125वीं जयंती होने के कारण यह वर्ष महत्वपूर्ण बताया जा रहा है

Bazaar-e-Husn (Urdu: بازارِ حُسن‎) or Seva Sadan (Hindi: सेवासदन) is a Hindustani novel by Munshi Premchand.

It was originally written in Urdu under the title Bazaar-e-Husn (“Market of Beauty” or Red-light district) but was first published in Hindi from Calcutta as Seva Sadan (“The House of Service”), in 1919. It was published in Urdu, in 1924, from Lahore.[1]

Bazaar-e-Husn was Premchand’s first major novel; before it, he had published four novellas in Urdu of about 100 pages each.

An English translation of this book was released by Oxford University Press, India in New Delhi in 2005.[2] The year is stated to be significant, being the 125th anniversary of Munshi Premchand’s birth

धनपत राय श्रीवास्तव (३१ जुलाई १८८० – ८ अक्टूबर १९३६), जिसे उनके कलम नाम मुंशी प्रेमचंद से बेहतर जाना जाता है (उच्चारण [mːnʃiː preːm t͡ʃənd̪] (इस ध्वनि के बारे में सुनता है), एक भारतीय लेखक थे जो अपने आधुनिक हिंदुस्तानी साहित्य के लिए प्रसिद्ध थे। वह उनमें से एक हैं भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप के सबसे प्रसिद्ध लेखक और बीसवीं सदी की शुरुआत के सबसे प्रमुख हिंदी लेखकों में से एक के रूप में माना जाता है। उनके उपन्यासों में गोदान, कर्मभूमि, गबान, मानसरोवर, ईदगाह शामिल हैं। उन्होंने 1907 में पांच लघु कथाओं का अपना पहला संग्रह प्रकाशित किया। सोज़-ए वतन नामक पुस्तक।

 

Dhanpat Rai Srivastava (31 July 1880 – 8 October 1936), better known by his pen name Munshi Premchand (pronounced [mʊnʃiː preːm t͡ʃənd̪] (About this sound listens), was an Indian writer famous for his modern Hindustani literature. He is one of the most celebrated writers of the Indian subcontinent and is regarded as one of the foremost Hindi writers of the early twentieth century. His novels include Godaan, Karmabhoomi, Gaban, Mansarovar, Idgah. He published his first collection of five short stories in 1907 in a book called Soz-e Watan.
